I don’t know if you guys remember my New Year’s Resolution, but it was to travel more this year. So far since I made that resolution, I’ve already traveled to Tempe, Arizona! It was a blast, and I already want to go back! Even though it rained the entire time of my visit, that didn’t stop my plans! Not to mention, it was still a warm rain with tempeture in the high 60’s low 70’s.
I went to Arizona for a few different reasons;
- To visit my Aunt/Uncle/Cousins who live there
- To visit and stay with my friend Cindy who attends ASU
- To participate in The Color Run
Speaking of the color run, that brings me to my next point…by participating in the color run, it now allows me to cross off #6 on my bucket-list…YAY!! Nothing makes me more excited than to be able to cross off things from my bucket list, it makes me feel as if I’m actually getting somewhere in life :] So without further adieu, here are some pictures of my trip to AZ!
My AZ family – including “Velcro” the dog! :]
A night out on the town with my bestfriend Cindy and her roomie Kristen! Such a fun night!
The rain didn’t stop us from getting colorful at The Color Run!
Close Up! 😀
Cindy took me to the ASU vs UCLA basketball game!
Didn’t want to leave :/
Well my friends IT happened! My beloved San Francisco 49ers are going to Super Bowl XLVII!!
If they win this super bowl it will be their 6th super bowl championship title! I am mostly excited about this particular super bowl because the last super bowl the Niners won was in 1994, and I was only 4 or 5 years old so it’s obvious that I cant really remember it or even cared for that matter at that age. All of the rest of their super bowl titles happened before I was born (1981, 1984, 1988, 1989).
Not only am I excited just for my team to be in the super bowl, but I am also excited because the two coaches that will be going head to head happen to be brothers! Jim Harbaugh, head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, and John Harbaugh, head coach of the Baltimore Ravens – or as some are calling it the “HAR-Bowl” Super Bowl. How cool is that?!
Oh and in case you live in the area and still haven’t heard…the San Francisco 49ers star quarterback is from TURLOCK!! That’s right Colin Kaepernick! So even if you’re not a 49er fan or a football fan for that matter, I encourage you to at least watch the game to cheer on a local star!
Never the less you can bet I will be dressed in 49er attire from head to toe with family and friends cheering on San Francisco come February 3rd!
Will you guys be watching Super Bowl XLVII?? Who will you be cheering on?
You can never have “too much” 49er gear!
Colin Kaepernick cookies from my favorite local bakery Olde Tyme Pastries!
OK – being that I’m a 90’s child, (technically I was born in 89′ but you get the point) I grew up on 90’s music! In fact, to this day some of my all-time favorite songs came from the 90’s!! So since I LOVE the music of this era, I thought I’d share my top 20 favorite 90’s songs with you guys…ENJOY :]
- This is how we do it, Montell Jordan (1995) An all-time party classic
- I’ll Be, Edwin McCain (1998) Played at every middle school and high school dance

What are some of YOUR favorite 90’s songs?? Do you guys remember any of these?
I don’t usually make typical or cliche news years resolutions. Last year, for example my not-so-new-year’s-resolution was to say “No” more (being that I found myself trying to please everyone but me)
This year, my new year’s resolution is to travel more. Near or far. I just want to get out and explore more places! Some of the places I
hope plan on visiting this year are; (like I said near or far)
*Phoenix, AZ – To visit my friend Cindy who attends ASU and to also participate in The Color Run Jan. 26th!
*Mi Wuk Village, CA – A bunch of friends and I rented a cabin for a weekend in February…let it snow, let it snow!
*Las Vegas, NV – A little graduation present to myself with a few of my fellow graduating friends :]
*New Brighton, CA – Annual summer camping trip on the beach! Going for a whole WEEK this year, I can’t wait!!
*Cancun, MX – This year’s Christmas destination with my family!
I’m hoping to add a few more places to this list, but for now I think it’s a good start :]
So now I wanna hear it…what are some of your guy’s new year’s resolutions??
Well I think it’s safe to say I pretty much blew this blogging gig over break! I got so wrapped up in the holidays that I just completely FORGOT all about it! (Ooops!)
But the good news is, I’m back, and ready for a new year of blogging :]
Speaking of a “year”…at the end of this month (the 30th to be exact) will be my blog’s and I ONE YEAR anniversary!
We’ve been though a lot this blog and I, but “we” couldn’t be more happier! If you would’ve asked me two years ago I would’ve never thought that I would ever become a blogger. When I thought of a blogger I pictured a weird-super-emotional-introvert who had nothing better to do.
Clearly I was under the WRONG impression! The world of blogging is actually a great net-working tool and can even be used for marketing purposes!
There are soooo many people that I would look at and never would of guessed they blogged and as it turns out I ended up subscribing to their blogs and follow them weekly! It’s inspiring the way others blog and share pieces of their lives. It encourages me to become a better and more successful blogger! Especially with my major being Organizational Communications, talk about a great tool to have under my belt!
This year of blogging is going to be a good one I can feel it; and with that I plan to make a few changes to the way I’ve been blogging! So hold on, stay tuned, and follow me into this new year to see what’s in store :]
