Har-Bowl!!!
Well my friends IT happened! My beloved San Francisco 49ers are going to Super Bowl XLVII!!
If they win this super bowl it will be their 6th super bowl championship title! I am mostly excited about this particular super bowl because the last super bowl the Niners won was in 1994, and I was only 4 or 5 years old so it’s obvious that I cant really remember it or even cared for that matter at that age. All of the rest of their super bowl titles happened before I was born (1981, 1984, 1988, 1989).
Not only am I excited just for my team to be in the super bowl, but I am also excited because the two coaches that will be going head to head happen to be brothers! Jim Harbaugh, head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, and John Harbaugh, head coach of the Baltimore Ravens – or as some are calling it the “HAR-Bowl” Super Bowl. How cool is that?!
Oh and in case you live in the area and still haven’t heard…the San Francisco 49ers star quarterback is from TURLOCK!! That’s right Colin Kaepernick! So even if you’re not a 49er fan or a football fan for that matter, I encourage you to at least watch the game to cheer on a local star!
Never the less you can bet I will be dressed in 49er attire from head to toe with family and friends cheering on San Francisco come February 3rd!

Sara, I love this post! I am not a huge sports fan, but I love how much people who are into sports really support their team! I’m happy for you that your team made it to the Super Bowl (I’m also happy because the 49ers are my boyfriend and his dad’s team and I didn’t want to see how angry they would have been otherwise!) I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for a win on game day!
