90′s Child

OK – being that I’m a 90′s child, (technically I was born in 89′ but you get the point) I grew up on 90′s music! In fact, to this day some of my all-time favorite songs came from the 90′s!! So since I LOVE the music of this era, I thought I’d share my top 20 favorite 90′s songs with you guys…ENJOY :]

  1. This is how we do it, Montell Jordan (1995) An all-time party classic
  2. I’ll Be, Edwin McCain (1998) Played at every middle school and high school dance
  3. You Were Meant for Me, Jewel (1997)
  4. Semi-Charmed Life, Third Eye Blind (1997)
  5. Ironic, Alanis Morissette (1995) How I learned the meaning of the word “ironic”
  6. Juicy, Notorious B.I.G. (1994) Team BIGGIE all the way, just sayin’.

  9. Tubthumping, Chumbawumba (1997) You’re not going to not sing along to this one

  11. You Make Me Wanna, Usher (1997) It was hard choosing just one Usher song from this era!

    Usually when I see 90s song lists they usually consist of the backstreet boys or brittany spears. I like the Biggie “all day every day!” lol

    sigh. This is my HIGH SCHOOL playlist. Good stuff.

    Also I think we need to have a talk about the word “ironic.” Alanis has it all wrong.

    I recognize most of them, which is a good thing since I’m a 90′s child too. I also agree with John that most of the times when people mention 90′s songs its more Britney Spears and all those people, so I was glad to see a few other songs on this list.
